Manufacturing began at the E&H Reedy Plant in 1975 under the name of Ellison Manufacturing Inc. The main products during the first sixteen years were pumpjacks, separators, and tanks that were for the most part sold to local oil and gas operators.

In 1991 the name was changed to E. & H. Manufacturing, Inc. (E & H) and our business office was opened in Charleston, WV. The existing activity continued, but in an effort to make our products more accessible to a larger market, we began distributing them through the existing network of oilfield supply stores. E & H then began adding new products and began serving some other industries.

In August 2002, E & H bought a second plant facility in Harmony, WV. This plant not only provides assistance to the Reedy Plant, but has also enabled E & H to diversify into other product lines such as timber bridges and a heavy duty concrete liner.

In an effort to provide for our customers' needs, E & H has delivered products to a dozen different states throughout the East Coast and Midwest, has 40,000 square feet of plant space under roof, and employs 25 people at its three locations.

We are members of the Independent Oil and Gas Association of West Virginia and the  WV Forestry Association. We are authorized by the ASME (American Society of Mechanical Engineers) and The National Board of Boiler and Pressure Vessel Inspectors to build and register pressure vessels. Our storage tanks can be manufactured to API  (American Petroleum Institute) Specifications.
